Monthly meetings are open to the public and held on the fourth Monday of each month starting at 6:30 p.m.  The BCHS has a committee for each of our  properties and other committees include: education, collections, and genealogy/research.  All of the committees are eager to welcome new members into active participation.

          Members of the society receive a quarterly newsletter informing them of activities and opportunities for involvement, and receive a discount on scheduled programs.  Membership dues are $20.00 per person per year.  Please mail to: BCHS, c/o Treasurer, PO Box 22, Vinton, Iowa 52349.
